“Shakespeare and his world”

               

On 23^rd May, Ms. Jessica Toro gave two lectures entitled “Shakespeare and his world”, courtesy of Oxford University Press.  Ms. Toro started by refreshing well known facts about Shakespeare and continued setting the writer in his historical context. We learnt that Shakespeare and his works are still alive and are found even in the lyrics of popular songs.

The lecture was very dynamic and interesting and both students and teachers enjoyed it greatly.
